A Controversial Vacation: Julien Ferrat's FKK Trip to France Draws Attention

Julien Ferrat, a city councilor from Mannheim, has stirred up quite a buzz with his unique vacation plan. He's proposing an FKK holiday in the heart of France, complete with a touch of politics and a splash of personal freedom.
Ferrat's proposals, admittedly unconventional, were initially put forth in a notice published in the Mannheimer Amtsblatt. The destination? Cap d'Agde, a renowned nudist resort on the French Mediterranean coast, known for its pleasant climate and, well, its FKK facilities.
The proposed trip is slated for August, and participants are expected to bear their own travel costs. Ferrat has already secured a hut for ten, predominantly for fellow Mannheim residents, with non-Mannheim participants encouraged to connect and arrange their own accommodations.
The Response So Far
Ferrat's call to the masses has garnered interest from all corners of Germany. After the deadline passed, he announced that he had received 22 firm commitments, with another 53 expressing tentative interest. With participants numbering 14 men and 8 women, Ferrat seems content with his illustrious group.
CDU Takes a Stand
The CDU, Mannheim's local political party, has not hesitated to voice its disapproval. CDU district chairman, Christian Hötting, has labelled Ferrat's plan "brainless," claiming it harms politics. The city administration, however, has maintained silence on the matter.
Pre-Trip Training and Privacy Concerns
In the lead-up to the trip, Ferrat has arranged a "training camp with outdoor sex on the FKK beach," in Mannheim itself. This pre-trip session will take place out of the spotlight. Ferrat believes it's essential to protect the privacy of the participants and to prepare for the upcoming eight days of...physical activities with unbroken concentration.
