Redevelopment of Tourism and Hospitality Infrastructure in Krasnoyarsky Krai

For the first time, Krasnoyarsky Krai has joined a federal program for affordable credit lending targeted at the tourism sector as part of the National Project "Tourism and Hospitality". This initiative will provide funding for the construction of two significant tourist projects: a five-star hotel at Sternberg and a hotel complex in the "Bobrovo Log" fan park, both planned to be completed by 2028, coinciding with the city's 400th anniversary.

Mikhail Kotyukov, the Governor of Krasnoyarsky Krai, highlighted the importance of tourism as one of the region's key sectors. Participation in the national project will enable the region to attract federal funds for upgrading its hotel infrastructure, a move especially relevant in the build-up to the city's anniversary, Kotyukov stated.

In the "Bobrovo Log" fan park, construction is set to commence on a complex consisting of two three- and four-star hotels with 320 rooms. These hotels will cater to a broad range of tourists—families with children and lovers of outdoor activities. The project not only stands to boost the region's tourist appeal but will create new job opportunities, thereby stimulating small and medium-sized businesses.

The hotel to be constructed at Sternberg will be a modern five-star establishment with 120 rooms equipped for business tourism and comfortable leisure. The hotel will be part of a multifunctional complex covering approximately 40 to 53 thousand square meters. Amenities will include a reception, a beauty salon, a hairdresser, two restaurants, a fitness center, a SPA zone, and an underground parking lot. From the hotel's windows, one can expect breathtaking views of the Yenisei River, the bridge, and Sternberg itself.

The project for the Sternberg hotel has already received approval from the Ministry of Construction. The construction site is located on the left bank of the River Kacha, close to its mouth, near the TC "Komsomol." The site, amounting to 1.84 hectares, has been earmarked for development.

Notably, there is currently only one official five-star mini-hotel in Krasnoyarsk, the Solomin, with a mere 14 rooms. The new hotel will significantly enhance the city's potential to accommodate high-level tourists and boost its business attractiveness.

Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Reshetnikov, stated that these new investments in the tourism sector will help elevate both domestic and inbound tourism to a qualitatively new level. This will make travel within Russia more comfortable and expand touristic destination options.

Construction of new hotels in Krasnoyarsk will also be part of a larger program for tourism development in the region, with a goal of making the region more tourist-friendly and increasing the tourist influx through the development of modern infrastructure and the enhancement of service accessibility.
