Enhanced cleaning and disinfection, hand hygiene stations, sneeze guards, and crew monitoring are some of the measures implemented to ensure the cleanliness of dining venues. Furthermore, passengers may take personal precautions, such as using sanitizing wipes and avoiding peak times, to further reduce exposure to germs.

Christine expresses her dislike for seeing guests go to the buffet directly after the gym without washing their hands. She emphasises the importance of maintaining good hygiene practices for the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew.

Despite the many advantages of living on a cruise ship, Christine misses certain aspects of life on land. She longs for the simple pleasure of driving, a reliable internet connection, family, and a Diet Coke from McDonald's. Her husband may retire in a couple of years, at which point they may return to dry land full-time.
