Getting to Epic Universe Theme Park in Orlando, Florida
Epic Universe, the latest addition to Universal Orlando's theme parks, is located approximately 2.5 miles southeast of the original theme parks, near the Orange County Convention Center. Here's how you can reach the park:
By Car
- From Orlando International Airport or Nearby: Take East Airport Boulevard to State Road 417. Stay on SR-417 until Exit 28, then take State Road 528 west. From SR-528, take Exit 2 to Universal Boulevard, turn right onto Destination Parkway, and follow the park's signs to the parking and main entrance.
Shuttle/Transit Options
While specific shuttle information is not detailed, many Universal resorts offer park-to-park shuttle service. Stay at one of Universal's official hotels, such as Helios Grand Hotel, Stella Nova Resort, or Terra Luna Resort, and inquire about direct transfers to Epic Universe.
Park Layout
The main entrance is through Celestial Park, the central hub connecting to other themed lands like Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

- The Kirkman Road extension is now open for traffic, making it easier to reach Epic Universe from downtown Orlando.
- Epic Universe has its own parking lot, with parking costs set at $32. Premium self-parking is offered for $50-$60.
- The main parking lot, including ride-share drop-off, opens at 6 a.m. Bus service from Universal Orlando hotels to Epic Universe also begins at 6 a.m., while turnstiles at the front entrance and inside the entrance for Helios Grand Hotel guests open at 7 a.m.
- Future operating hours will range from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with fluctuating start and closing times.
- Bag screening is implemented at the park entrance, with many prohibited items, including explosives, weapons, alcohol, marijuana, power-driven devices, outside food or beverages, glass, coolers, suitcases, bags with wheels, and folding chairs. Everyone will also be required to pass through a metal detector.
- Tickets for one-day admission to Epic Universe vary daily and range from $139 (for selected September dates) to $199 (from Christmas Eve through New Year's Eve).
- The official Universal Orlando app can be used for purchases, dining reservations, maps, show schedules, wait times, and more.
