Gütersloh Autumn: Michaelis Fair, Street Art & Film Premiere
Gütersloh is gearing up for a vibrant autumn with a packed calendar of events. The city museum will host blacksmithing and woodworking activities, while the Street Art Festival 'Gütersloh Street Fiffi' promises international street artist performances. Meanwhile, the Michaelis fair returns with thrilling rides and food stalls.
Kicking off the festivities is the Michaelis fair, running from September 26 to October 5. The fairground will transform the market square with exciting rides and a variety of food stalls. On September 28, the city museum will offer hands-on activities for both children and adults, teaching blacksmithing and woodworking skills.
The same day, the city center will host a shopping Sunday, with retail stores open for extended hours, coinciding with the Street Art Festival 'Gütersloh Street Fiffi'. Seven international street artists will showcase their talents with seven captivating performances. Adding to the excitement, the premiere of the film 'Gütersloh Super 8 reloaded' will take place on October 5 at 5:30 pm, directed by Kai Uwe Oesterhelweg. On October 4, a children's flea market will be held in the Spiekergasse, with stand spaces already taken but a waiting list available for interested participants.
