History

Built in 1913 as a summer getaway for Attilio Odero, a Ligurian industrialist, the villa was designed by the renowned Tuscan architect Gino Coppedè. Blending Art Nouveau, Neo-Renaissance, and Gothic Revival architectural styles, the villa is a unique blend of historical elegance and eclectic details, embodying the golden age of the Riviera.

After changing hands, the property was acquired by luxury hotel group Belmond in 2021. Under the leadership of Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the villa has been restored to its former grandeur and reopened in summer 2025 as a luxury VIP retreat.
