Insight: Fiji is home to some of the world's most vibrant and diverse soft coral ecosystems, with thousands of species attracting divers from around the globe. The famous Rainbow Reef, located between Taveuni and Vanua Levu islands, boasts stunning coral walls teeming with marine life and is a hotspot for shark sightings. Soft coral displays thrive on this reef, particularly the Great White Wall, which features thick coverage of white soft corals and diverse marine species such as lionfish, banded shrimps, moray eels, and schools of fish. Other notable dive sites in Fiji include the Great Astrolabe Reef, Bligh Water, Somosomo Strait, and Beqa Lagoon, each offering unique experiences and opportunities to encounter diverse marine life.
