As of mid-2025, there were no direct flights between Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Harbin. While other Russian cities such as Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, Irkutsk, and Yakutsk, as well as East Asian hubs, had direct flights to Harbin, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was not on the list. The modernised international airport in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is the key factor enabling the launch of regular flights.
