Prestone Showcases EV Thermal Management Solutions at The Battery Show
Prestone, a global leader in automotive fluids, is set to exhibit its thermal management solutions for electric vehicles (EVs) at The Battery Show North America in Detroit, from October 6-9, 2025. The company supplies over three million gallons per year of its current EV thermal management fluids to global vehicle original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Prestone's EVXTM fluids are designed to meet the unique demands of EVs and hybrids. They offer low conductivity, extended corrosion protection, and excellent chemical stability. The fluids meet the newly implemented GB29743.2 standard, enhancing safety in EVs by reducing electrical conductivity of coolants. This standard is expected to be globally implemented within the next few years.
Prestone's proprietary testing, conducted in partnership with Exoes, validates the safety of its EVXTM fluids under high-voltage conditions. The company's EVXTM solutions include phosphate-based, silicate-based, and non-ionic inhibitor technologies, catering to various EV needs and specifications. Prestone supports the electrification of diverse markets, including automotive, mining, construction, and agriculture, through its EV-specific thermal management technologies.
Prestone invites attendees to visit its booth (#3238) at The Battery Show to learn more about its EV thermal management portfolio and discuss the EV market outlook. The company, with a presence in over 100 countries, is a factory-fill supplier and leader in automotive fluid research and development. Its commitment to safety and innovation is evident in its EVXTM fluids, which meet industry standards for light- and heavy-duty EVs in markets like China and the U.S.
