Delta Cruises Launches Bonus Miles Offer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises
Delta Air Lines' cruising arm is rewarding customers who book sailings with luxury line Regent Seven Seas Cruises with up to 275,000 bonus Delta SkyMiles. This offer, starting Monday, allows customers to quickly amass a significant number of SkyMiles.
As part of the promotion, clients booking a sailing with Regent Seven Seas Cruises will receive up to 275,000 bonus Delta SkyMiles, in addition to the 2 SkyMiles per dollar spent on cruises normally awarded by Delta Cruises.The bonus miles vary depending on the length of the cruise and the year it takes place.
For instance, a 2025 sailing on Regent for 12 nights or less will yield a 25,000 bonus miles. In contrast, a 2024 sailing of the same duration will earn 50,000 bonus miles. The number of bonus miles increases as the sailing's length and 2024 departure date approach.
To claim the full 275,000 bonus miles, travelers must book a 2024 cruise of at least 21 nights. The offer expires on April 30 and applies to new bookings for cruises scheduled over the coming years.
This promotional offer applies to any cabin booked on any Regent Seven Seas Cruise sailing. The total bonus miles awarded will depend on the cruise’s length and the year of departure.
Customers planning to book a 2024 cruise will receive an additional 25,000 bonus miles, while those booking for 2025 and beyond will earn the following bonus miles:
- 25,000 miles for sailings of 12 nights or less
- 50,000 miles for sailings of 13 or 14 nights
- 100,000 miles for sailings of 15 to 20 nights
- 250,000 miles for sailings of 21 or more nights
The bonus miles are in addition to the 2 Delta SkyMiles for every dollar spent on cruises that Delta Cruises normally awards. Therefore, booking a $20,000 cruise with thepromotion would result in over 40,000 additional Delta SkyMiles.
The latter bonus miles will be given for the total cruise purchase price, excluding port charges, port expenses, taxes, and insurance. The caveats include that bonus miles are earned per cabin, awarded to only one passenger per cruise booking, and can be earned only through the Delta Cruises program.
Travelers keen on earning more Delta SkyMiles can use a Delta SkyMiles credit card, such as the Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express Card, when booking the cruise. Those without a Delta-affiliated card can opt for a credit card that earns bonus points on cruises. A good choice is the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card.
