Simplifying International Train Travel Across Europe: Deutsche Bahn Announces Major Updates
From autumn 2025, passengers boarding trains for cross-border journeys throughout Europe will have the convenience of purchasing tickets via the DB Navigator app or bahn.de. This move comes as part of Deutsche Bahn's commitment to unify the previously fragmented ticketing system across Europe, amidst a growing demand for international long-distance travel.
German politician Matthias Gastel, who has been actively involved in rail-related matters, highlighted the need for change, stating, "There is no integrated European rail network."
