This summer, flights will be available from Krasnoyarsk to 11 different countries.
Flying off to 11 Destinations from Krasnoyarsk This Season
Lean back and prepare for takeoff as Krasnoyarsk International Airport gears up to offer direct flights to 11 exciting destinations this spring-summer season! But remember, six of these destinations fall under the category of close-range neighbors.
The fine folks at the airport announced that international flights will open up to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and, for the first time in many years, to Armenia.
As for far-off lands, travelers from Krasnoyarsk can expect flights to Thailand, China, Mongolia, Vietnam, and Turkey.
Most of the international flights will be regular routes, such as Russia's flights to Beijing, Harbins, and several trips to sunny Sanya, China. IRAERO will also make a weekly trip to China's Manchuria.
Mongolia's capital, Ulaanbaatar, will have weekly service from KrasAvia, while Thailand's Bangkok and Phuket will see Aeroflot or Azur Air make two visits a week. Southwind Airlines plans on offering two weekly flights to Turkey.
Moreover, the following destinations will see charter flights with varying frequencies:
- Antalya, Turkey (AZUR air, Ikar, Red Wings)
- Nha Trang, Vietnam (AZUR air, Ikar, Red Wings)
- Phuket and Utapao, Thailand (AZUR air, Ikar, Red Wings)
In the neighboring region, new destinations for Krasnoyarsk Airport this season include Yerevan, Armenia, which will open up on May 10, and Samarkand, Uzbekistan, which kicks off on April 1st.
Krasnoyarsk Airport is ready to roll out a comprehensive flight schedule across Russia, with increases in flights to coastal cities and capital cities.
Here's a sneak peek at the destinations within the close-range neighborhood:
- No direct flight connection to Armenia or Azerbaijan has been listed in the current schedules or databases.
Moving on to Tajikistan, Ural Airlines operates flights to both Dushanbe and Khujand, although the frequency is not explicitly stated. These routes are active during the season timeframe.
China and Thailand have three direct destinations from Krasnoyarsk: Bangkok, Phuket, and the relatively quiet U-Tapao in Rayong/Pattaya. Flights to Bangkok and Phuket are handled by Aeroflot and Azur Air, while the seasonal route to U-Tapao, running from January to March, is managed by Azur Air and, unfortunately, is not active during the core spring-summer months.
No flight information for Vietnam is currently available, and much the same goes for Mongolia.
In short, Tajikistan (Dushanbe, Khujand), Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket), and Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar) have regular direct flights via Ural Airlines, Aeroflot, and KrasAvia, respectively. Charter flights to Antalya, Nha Trang, Phuket, and Utapao in Thailand and to Turkey will run with varying frequencies throughout the season. Unfortunately, no current direct flights to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Vietnam, or Turkey have been reported from Krasnoyarsk for the spring-summer season.
