Iceland nabs the top spot as the world's safest destination, with a score of 18.23 out of 100. Following closely are Singapore (19.99) and Denmark (20.05). Europe houses 12 out of the 15 safest countries, with Switzerland holding the eighth position globally.

The HelloSafe Index, updated annually, collates data from UN agencies, the World Bank, and international search bodies. It covers 35 criteria across five main categories, such as environmental and political risks, armed conflict, and healthcare infrastructure, offering a comprehensive view of global safety.
