Wyndham Garden Beach Crowned Kazakhstan's Best in 2025
Kazakh Tourism has revealed the winners of its inaugural 'Best Beach' program. The initiative, held annually, aims to encourage regions to develop recreation areas according to international standards. Over 30 beaches from various regions participated in the 2025 evaluation.
Wyndham Garden Beach in Akmola region emerged victorious, scoring an impressive 166 out of 170 possible points. The beach was commended for its clean water, developed infrastructure, and eco-friendly initiatives. It met the national standard ST RK 3013-2017 and international Blue Flag program criteria.
City Beach No5 in Almaty region came in a close second with 145.5 points, while Central Embankment in Pavlodar region placed third with 145 points. The evaluation considered factors such as water safety, sanitation, infrastructure, lifeguards, medical posts, water entry ease, territory planning, water quality control, and environmental initiatives.
The 'Best Beach' program has successfully concluded for 2025, with Wyndham Garden Beach taking the top spot. The program has encouraged regions to develop their beaches according to international standards, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors. As the beach season in Kazakhstan comes to an end, preparations for the next annual 'Best Beach' competition are already underway.
